Jennifer Hines is a senior adviser on the Academic and Program Strategy team within Bellwether’s Strategic Advising practice area.
Jennifer brings more than 25 years of experience in education to Bellwether, including teaching, school and network leadership, program development, senior leader coaching, and entrepreneurship.
She is the co-founder of Accelerate Education, which provides coaching and development to education leaders across the country. From 2017 to 2022, Jennifer served as a coach and program developer for the Charter Network Accelerator, serving most recently as its managing director. During her time at the organization, she partnered with CEOs and leadership teams from charter management organizations across the country to strengthen planning, implementation systems, and leadership practices to maximize their impact for students and families.
Earlier in her career, Jennifer was a founding staff member of YES Prep Public Schools in Houston. There, she spent more than 16 years in leadership roles, including as chief academic officer and senior vice president for people and program, helping the organization grow with quality from one to 10 campuses and 10,000 students. Jennifer also spent two years at Houston Endowment, where she worked on strategy and developed and launched the foundation’s strategic communications function. She began her career as a teacher through Teach For America.
