Shruti has extensive experience in the financing of impact investments and teaching in the classroom as an AmeriCorps Teaching Fellow in Boston and in Chelsea Public Schools in Massachusetts. She holds a master’s degree in public policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and a bachelor’s degree in public policy and education from Brown University.

Why I do this work:

As a product of the under-resourced Guam public school system and the daughter of a Montessorian, I understand the importance of investing in and operationalizing mechanisms that provide all students in America with the education they deserve. My public school education in Guam was unsafe and lacked the infrastructure to help my classmates reach their full potential. I do this work to ensure that the next generation of students have access to a safe and high-quality education.
