Background:
Mike holds an MBA from Miami University (Ohio) and a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Franklin University. He lives outside Cincinnati, Ohio, with his wife and four children.
Why I do this work:
As a rural school graduate and first-gen college student, I’ve experienced firsthand the impacts of educational inequity that face young people furthest from opportunity; on the other hand, I have also witnessed passionate adults working hard to realize satisfying outcomes for these young people. It has been a longstanding aspiration to be involved in work that aligns so closely with my beliefs and hopes about the future of education.
