Background:
Nora Weber is a senior analyst in the Policy and Evaluation practice area at Bellwether.
Prior to Bellwether, she worked in client services and education-related roles, including as a digital marketing associate as well as a teaching assistant in the U.S. Fulbright Program based in Austria. Nora is a longtime adult literacy tutor who loves working with learners of all ages.Â
She is currently completing a Ph.D. in sociology at Indiana University Bloomington, and uses multi-method approaches to conduct evaluation and research related to education and workforce development. She holds a master’s degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a bachelor’s degree in English and German from the University of Michigan.
Why I do this work:
As a student, educator, and researcher, schools have served as a place of exploration, curiosity, and growth in my life. I believe that every person should have this opportunity, and that thoughtful and equity-focused research is central in achieving this goal.Â
