Background:
Amy Ribock is the director of development at Bellwether on the External Relations team.
Since 2014, Amy has worked in nonprofit development in the K-12 education reform sector, serving on development teams at TNTP and Teach For America. Prior to that, Amy was an instructional leader and coach for three cohorts of new teachers. She began her career as a Teach For America corps member where she taught kindergarten in Memphis, Tennessee.
Amy holds a master’s degree in education from Christian Brothers University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina. She resides in Columbia, South Carolina, where she enjoys spending time on the water with her husband, three children, and golden retriever.
Why I do this work:
As a woman of faith, I believe that all children are equally deserving of access to opportunities — beginning with a high-quality education — that will put them on a path to success and fulfillment.
