Background:

Juan Pagán is an associate partner at Bellwether in the Strategic Advising practice area. Before joining Bellwether, Juan worked as team lead and senior finance specialist at EdOps Education Business Solutions, operating as an external CFO for several newly launched District of Columbia public charter schools.

Juan began his career in education as a middle school math teacher and Teach For America corps member in the Indianapolis region. Juan serves as a board member for Statesmen College Preparatory Academy for Boys, a school serving the eighth ward of the District of Columbia. Juan holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a master’s degree in middle school education from Marian University, and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Indiana University.

Growing up, my parents always emphasized the importance of education. I believe that all children should have access to a high-quality education no matter what ZIP code they live in or resources their family has.
