Why I Do This Work

My parents immigrated to the U.S. with me when I was 3 years old, hoping to provide me with educational opportunities that would change my life trajectory. As a teacher, I gained a deeper understanding of what it might take to provide that opportunity to all students. I believe that all children deserve access to a high-quality, transformational education that sets them on the path to a full and rich life.
