Background:
Will Rodriguez is a consultant at Bellwether in the Strategic Advising practice area.
Since 2018, Will has worked in education operations for Success Academy Public Charter Schools in New York. There, he began his career supporting one school in system creation, scholar data, and operational efficiency. This hands-on experience led him to join the network operations team to support nearly 50 schools during the remote classroom years at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. His focus area was on facilities management and training new hires in the operations department to succeed in their individual schools within the network.
Will holds a bachelor’s degree in operations research from Columbia University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Why I do this work:
Educational disparities came into focus for me as I struggled in college after graduating from a public K-12 school district. These disparities were even more apparent during the COVID-19 pandemic, where I witnessed students with similar backgrounds to my own fall behind their more well-resourced peers. I believe that all students are capable of achieving great things when given the opportunity, regardless of where they come from or how they live.
