Background:
Kate (Neifeld) Stein is the senior development manager with Bellwether on the External Relations team.
Her extensive background in the nonprofit sector includes a range of roles in K-12 education reform, higher education fundraising, community and stakeholder engagement, child welfare policy, communications, and philanthropy.
Prior to joining Bellwether, Kate was a program officer at The Peter and Carmen Lucia Buck Foundation, where she managed multiple grant portfolios, administered a scholarship program, and assisted with the foundation’s strategic growth plans.
Kate holds a master’s degree in urban policy and management from The New School and a bachelor’s degree in film studies from The University of Vermont.
