Why I do this work:
Growing up, I was privileged to receive a high-quality public education and I firmly believe this privilege should be afforded to all students, regardless of their household income, race, or ZIP code. My experiences as a teacher will forever fuel my passion for this work — in particular, learning about sustainable and culturally responsive innovations within early childhood education for students who are affected by racism and poverty.
