Christine Wade is a senior associate partner at Bellwether.
Christine brings a decade of experience supporting organizations in strategic planning. At Bellwether, Christine has partnered with a wide range of organizations across the education sector, including schools and districts, state education agencies, nonprofits, funders, and product and service providers. She has helped organizations develop and implement strategic and growth plans, launch new products and initiatives, and create resources and toolkits that directly support school leaders, students, and families. She co-authored the Pragmatic Playbook for Impact, which explores three distinct but complementary strategies organizations can use to translate vision into action and grow their impact, as well as a subsequent deep dive on how organizations can pursue scale, success, and sustainability through Systemic Impact.
Christine began her consulting career at Bain & Company, where she supported a broad range of clients through strategic planning and organizational effectiveness projects. In 2018, Christine supported KIPP DC Public Schools for five months with research and recommendations on strategic growth and operational topics.
Christine holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and economics from the University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce. Raised in the Chicago suburbs, Christine currently resides in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Why I Do This Work
From the first day of kindergarten when I ran onto the school bus, I have always been passionate about education. As I grew up, I came to understand how much I benefited from educational opportunities that many children don’t have access to. I believe that learning unlocks potential for individuals and our world, and that all children deserve a great education.
