Background:
Libby Schwaner is an evaluation analyst in the Policy and Evaluation practice area at Bellwether.
Prior to joining Bellwether, she was a policy analyst at the Carsey School of Public Policy at the University of New Hampshire, where she provided research and analysis support on a broad range of topics. Libby also has experience in evaluation and qualitative research through her Nordblom Fellowship at the University of New Hampshire.
She holds a master’s degree in public policy and a bachelor’s degree, both from the University of New Hampshire.
Why I do this work:
In high school and college I worked for a nonprofit that serves at-risk girls in the mostly rural state of New Hampshire, most of whom didn’t have the same access to a high-quality education that I was fortunate to have. I saw their excitement for education emerge when given the chance to learn in a safe, nurturing environment and want every child to have that same opportunity.
